I've seen a few posts
on this exception but i'm not sure how to apply the solutions suggested (KeyboardInteractiveConnectionInfo) in PowerShell

I can connect to the Linux server (SuSE, Linux Kernel version 3.0.38-0.5) in question via putty and using SharpSSH in PowerShell 3.0 with the following script. But it doesn't work in PowerShell 2.0 (at least in our enviroment) and all of our windows servers run PowerShell 2.0 due to various issues with 3.0 and certain MS products (e.g. Exchange 2010). So SharpSSH is out of the question for the time being.

Quick example of how I'm connecting and the error I'm getting.
PS C:\Users\admin> [void][reflection.assembly]::LoadFrom( (Resolve-Path"C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules\SSH-Sessions\Renci.SshNet.dll") )
PS C:\Users\admin> $SshClient = New-Object Renci.SshNet.SshClient("LINUXHOST", 22, "ADMIN", "PASS")
PS C:\Users\admin> $Sshclient.connect()
