Status of SSH.NET

Hi Oleg,

I've been using Sharp.SSH library for a while now, although it does what I need it to do I'm not impressed with the implementation of the library.

So my question to you is, is the current state of SSH.NET stable enough to completely replace my dependency on Sharp.SSH with SSH.NET? I mainly use the SFTP component.

Thanks

Beyers Cronje

PS SSH.NET architecture seems much cleaner and better optimized for .NET as compared with Sharp.SSH, so kudos to you.

Hi Beyers,

Thanks for you interest in my library.

As far as stable, I can say that its pretty stable, but different reasons I keep it still as a Beta version.

I do have some bugs or problems occasionally which I try to resolve them as quick as possible but overall it in pretty stable condition I would say.

As far as SFTP functionality, it supports almost everything protocol is allows, I might skip function or two but nobody mentioned anything so far.

So I can suggest you can try and see if it fits your case and let me know if you running into any problems.

Thanks,

Oleg
