When trying to execute sudo commands on a remote linux host I get the following error:

Error "sudo: no tty present and no askpass program specified

A work around is use of a pseudo tty.  Is there a solution or work around already in this project?

I figured I should ask before spending the time to fix it myself.

Well,

I think one solution would be is to open tty when you want to issue sudo command, dont know if that would be applicable in this case.

I guess current solution would be to just log on as root user, since you need to know root password anyway, then I think you wont need to use "sudo" at all.

Thanks,
