Hi guys,

Is it possible to invoke an ssh2 subsystem with the current version? If it is possible, anyone know how to to do it? I want to use SSH.NET to run the equivalent of the ssh '-s' switch...

>ssh -s my.user@my.host-com tacl

This command use the ssh transport to invoke the tacl subsystem on my host

Any ideas?

From ssh man pages

"

-s      May be used to request invocation of a subsystem on the remote
system.  Subsystems are a feature of the SSH2 protocol which
facilitate the use of SSH as a secure transport for other
applications (eg. sftp(1)).  The subsystem is specified as the
             remote command.

"

cheers,

Paul.

Hi,

I am not really familiar with this option so cant say much about it.

What you do can do is to implement SubsystemSession class, if it makes sence in your situation.

Hope it helps,

Thanks,

Oleg

Hi Oleg,

thanks for gettingback to me. I hope you enjoyed your holiday!

Unfortunately, I wouldn't even know where to start to implement a SubsystemSession class!

cheers,

Paul
